Candidates who are in possession of 18 months course certificate need to undertake Part-B training on or before 30 Sep 2023, for conversion to 5 year validity.

Candidates can book without Bio-metric Seafarer Identify Documents (BSID) only for Basic Safety Training & Security Training for Seafarer with Designated Security Duties courses. For all other courses, BSID is mandatory. Without BSID uploading of candidates details in DGS site cannot be undertaken by the MTI.
