Candidates can book without Bio-metric Seafarer Identify Documents (BSID) for all courses, however, it is in the interest of the seafarer to obtain his BSID as early as possible. NAMAC conducts Practical Training for conversion of 18 months validity certificate to 5 years. NAMAC candidates converstion Rs. 500 will be charged. Other institute candidates will be required to pay as indicated at NAMAC booking office . They can book the slot as convenient.

All Candidates undergoing practical training are to pay Rs 200 separately for their medical fitness.

INDoS Procedure

BSST, STSDSD and INDoS Combo Booking Procedure


For combo booking of 2 basic courses (BSST + STSDSD) and INDoS, you have to first register at NAMAC website www.namacindia.com . After that, book the above courses - Basic Safety Training (BSST) and STSDSD (Course start date should be at least 7 days after the payment of INDoS fees). On completion of booking of the above courses, go to Apply for INDoS page for payment.

Note:- Candidates who are applying for INDoS must book 2 basic courses (BSST and STSDSD) and compulsorily undergo these courses once INDoS number allotted. In case, a candidate is cancelling these courses after generating INDoS under any circumstances, there will be no refund. “Cancellation and Refund” policy will not be applicable here.

Documents required for Online INDoS Application


  1. The candidate must have a valid passport. (Indian Passport Only) (Photo and Address page (1st and last page) should be properly and must be scan in one file - PDF format)
  2. The candidate must have 10th class pass mark sheet or certificate (Mark Sheet or certificate should be properly cropped and scan- in PDF format)
  3. The recent photograph shall be of standard passport size. The background of the photograph should be white. The face size should be 75% to 80% of the photograph. Also, photo should be in formals. (Photograph should be properly cropped and scan- In JPG format)
  4. Signature of candidate should be on blank white paper with black pen and must match with passport signature. (Signature should be properly cropped and scan- In JPG format)
